Where is medical cannabis used?

Medical cannabis is mainly prescribed to treat pain. Possible cannabis therapy applications are listed below:

• Chronic pain
• Multiple sclerosis
• Neurological conditions such as epilepsy and spasticity
• Nausea and vomiting, as a result of chemotherapy and other treatments
• Severe emaciation, for example in seriously ill cancer and AIDS patients
• Cannabinoids can also alleviate anxiety disorders, ADHD or Tourette's syndrome

Further applications are currently being researched.
